Ryszard Wasiłek is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Szczecin University of Technology, as well as postgraduate studies in the field of district heating and heating at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology.
Mr Ryszard Wasiłek has been on the Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. since March 2016 - first as Vice President for Development, and since February 2017 as Vice President for Operations. Previously, he served as President in Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej Sp. z o.o. in Stargard (2003-2016). From 1994 to 2003, Mr. Ryszard Wasiłek was employed by KielArt Sp. z o.o. in Szczecin as Chief Executive Officer - President of the Board, and from 1990 to 1994 he was Deputy Mayor of Stargard for Economic Policy.
Since 2016, Mr. Ryszard Wasiłek has served on the Board of the Economic Chamber of Energy and Environmental Protection. Previously, he was a Member of the Council of the Stargard Chamber of Commerce (2004-2016), a Member of the Council of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Polish Heat Engineering - North-West Region (2010-2016) and a Member of the Council of the National Chamber of Commerce Polish Heat Engineering (2014-2016). In 1993-1994 Mr Ryszard Wasiłek was the Chairman of the Association of Municipalities of Western Pomerania ? "Euroregion Pomerania".
The Vice-President of the Management Board for Operations is authorised and responsible for managing the operations of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. in the area comprising the following organisational units: Operational Management and Investment Department, Production Raw Materials Supply Department, Trade Department, Dialogue and Social Relations Department, and with respect to the supervision of the subsidiaries of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A., he is entrusted with the substantive supervision of the following companies and their subsidiaries: PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A., PGE Obrót S.A., PGE Dom Maklerski S.A., PGE Centrum sp. z o.o., PGE Trading GmbH sp. z o.o.
