New members of the PKEE Governing Board

Dariusz Marzec, President of the Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna, has been appointed President of the Governing Board of the Polish Electricity Committee (PKEE). Meanwhile, Marcin Laskowski, Vice President of the Management Board for Regulatory Affairs of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna, will serve as Vice President of the Association's Governing Board.

Dariusz Marzec is a graduate of the University of Warsaw, with a degree in Organisation and Management. 

From 2013 to 2016, he was associated with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A., serving as Vice President of the Management Board for Development. Among other things, he was responsible for the preparation and supervision of the implementation of the PGE Group Development Strategy 2014-2020 and the PGE Group Investment Programme. In addition, he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A., PGE Energia Odnawialna S.A. and PGE EJ1 Sp. z.o.o., as well as a Member of the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Committee.

From 2009 to 2013, he worked at KPMG Advisory Sp. z o.o. as a Director responsible for the energy area in the Central and Eastern Europe Region and the company's financial and strategic advisory services for companies in the energy sector in Poland. He carried out and supervised a number of transactions and projects in the power sector. Previously, from 2005 to 2007, he was Vice President of Investment at Unipetrol a.s. (Czech Republic), responsible for, among other things, the preparation and implementation of the investment and organisational restructuring strategy and supervision of M&A projects in the group. In 2004-2005, he was Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Treasury in Marek Belka's government. From 1995 to 2004, he worked in managerial positions at the international consulting firms Pricewaterhouse Coopers (2001-2004 and 1995-2000) and Arthur Andersen Poland (2000-2001).From 2019 to 2024, he is a member of the Management Board for Economic Affairs at Tramwaje Warszawskie Sp. z o.o. 

Marcin Laskowskand for several years has been preparing and implementing projects in the area of renewable energy sources within the Polish Biogas Group, which is now part of the French company Total Energies. In the Polish Biogas Group, he is President of PGB Inwestycje Sp. z o.o., SPV and Vice-President of PGB Serwis Sp. z o.o.. As Vice President of the Polish Economic Chamber of Renewable and Distributed Energy (PIGEOR), he is active in the development of legal regulations aimed at the development of energy, including RES. 

For a number of years he was responsible, as Director of the Investment Department at Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne, for the development of the national transmission network, including taking an active part in the creation of legal regulations dedicated to the electric power industry. He was responsible, inter alia, for the Poland-Lithuania Electricity Project co-financed with EU funds and the construction and expansion of the transmission grid for EURO 2012.

Graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and MBA Executive, certified Project Manager by the International Project Management Association. Specialised in energy infrastructure development for 24 years.
